Marni Task is an actress, singer and yogini from Northeast Ohio. After a few years of exploring a yoga practice which had taken her all around the country, she happened upon Angelica's Herbs - An herbal apothecary in New York's east village. While the seed was planted by her teachers and mentors - Sharon Gannon and David Life (Founders of Jivamukti Yoga- who would rub a sweetly scented oil on the necks of their students during savasana), the brilliant bouquet of aromas emanating from within that shop were transcendent and, from that one experience, a passion for Aroma-therapy was born.
Marni Task, CYT/RYT, has been teaching yoga since 1995. She is a Senior Certified Jivamukti Yoga Teacher, as well as an Anusara Inspired Instructor. She continues her studies with her Gurus/Yoga parents, Sharon Gannon & David Life, the creators of Jivamukti. She is immersed in and inspired by the Anusara Teacher Certification process with her other beloved teacher John Friend.
